Government should operate on the assumption that elected
and appointed officials have pre-mandated expiration dates. Every law makers'
term should expire automatically after a fixed period of time say, 8 or 12
years...House and Senate...unless lawmakers and constituents expressly vote to
reauthorize it. Likewise every legislatively created agency and program. Members
of Congress and state legislatures should be required to revisit their handiwork
on a regular basis, reviewing it for relevance, efficacy, and soundness, and
allowing measures that have outlived their usefulness to lapse...such as the
E.P.A."The presumption should be that laws and lawmakers are
experimental solutions to social problems we want to eliminate," says political
scientist Matthew Franck of the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, N.J. If the
solutions are working and continue to be needed, a legislature is always free to
extend them. But if the experiments fail the "solutions didn't solve test" a
sunset provision helps forestall the problem of vested
interests, in and out of government, building up to protect them despite
their failure or irrelevance."Initial eligibility and expiration dates would be
established on a matrix which takes into consideration the constitutional
validity of serving members' legislation and service provided their constituents
in which their constituents grade them on a 4 point scale. Any serving member
who has a constituent mean grade of 2.5 or less will automatically be denied the
right to run for re-election at the close of his or her term. Those whose
eligibility mark is between 3.0 and 2.5 will have their standard party election
donations cut by 50%. This means they themselves must personally provide half of
their campaign monies.Scores of between 3.5 and 3.0 will have their expiration
dates evaluated within 90 days of that expiration of current term and their
eligibility will be determined by constituent approval/disapproval.This should keep our legislators more "in touch" with
their constituents and remove the deadwood ...e.g. RHINOs. And
the lame excuse currently in vogue of legislators telling their constituents
that "Sorry I had to throw all of you under the bus...I had to vote with my
heart on this one" would come to a screeching halt and keep them ever
mindful of who voted them into office. "The invasion of private rights is chiefly to be
apprehended, not from acts of Government contrary to the sense of its
constituents, but from acts in which the Government is the mere instrument of
the major number of the Constituents."Departing the Wish List and entering the O.M.G.
list:Am I to understand that Obama and Kerry are considering
making Iran an ally? A nation that has expressed a desire to nuke Israel and the
United States? Apparently this came to Barak between the third and fourth holes.
"Okay. If I triple bogey this hole, we'll ally with Iran; if I merely double
bogey the hole, we'll go it alone. Yo! John! Roll me another one!"James Phillips is the senior research fellow for Middle
Eastern affairs at the Heritage Foundation. Phillips says the potential of the
U.S. working with Iran on the situation is a sign of “desperation.” “We are talking about turning to Iran to help stabilize Iraq –
that effort in itself will weaken our pressure on Iran in nuclear
[negotiations],” Phillips said.He points out the major concern for the West, beyond
working with Iran, is making sure ISIS does not become a “transnational
jihadists threat,” that could later use Iraq as a base for terrorism.
“If they are able to consolidate their stranglehold
over eastern Syria, western Iraq then they will use it as a base for exporting
their Islamist revolution elsewhere in region,” Phillips said. “We are seeing
the formation of a dangerous sanctuary in the heart of the Arab
world.”The invasion of Iraq was logically foreseeable. It was
only a matter of who and when.Jim Morris |
Former secret service says Obama is gay & Muslim

A former Secret Service agent whose new book is quickly climbing Amazon’s best-seller charts, said he is concerned about the state of the country and says it is time the public knows the real truth about our Commander in Chief, Barack Obama.Former agent, Paul Horner, in his new tell-all book “The Black House,” reveals what goes on inside the White House when the news cameras are turned off.In an interview with CNN, Horner told Victor Berman that he is one-hundred-percent positive that President Obama is not only gay, but a radical Muslim as well.“Everyone on the inside knows that Obama is gay and a Muslim, it is common knowledge,” Horner said. “I saw many men coming and going from Obama’s room, at all hours. I would say a good portion of the men, over fifty-percent, were Muslim.”Berman: “In your book you talk about several rituals Obama preformed to unwind from his busy schedule. Can you elaborate on these for our viewers?”Horner: “When no one was around, except his security, Obama couldn’t wait to get out of his suit and into his Muslim tunic. He would wear it while praying to the prophet Muhammad throughout the day. During these prayer sessions he insisted that he not be disturbed.” Berman: “Your book spends a whole chapter devoted to the various “tortures” that Obama and the First Lady would subject you to. Can you explain?”Horner: “Because I was white, Obama would force me to listen to Diana Ross full volume, every day, at all hours of the night. It was horrible, I never got any sleep. This is one of the main reasons I finally had to quit.”Berman: “Can you give us any insight on Obama’s feelings towards the American people?”Horner: “He constantly made jokes about Americans, frequently referring to them as “mongoloids” and “idiots”. Christians were his favorite verbal punching bags. He has absolutely no respect for the Christian religion. I believe he actually hates Christians, and finds their ideology to be old fashioned and ignorant.”Berman: What is one of the things readers will find the most shocking?Horner: “Probably the sheer amount of men he welcomed into his bed quarters. I am in no way homophobic, but Obama’s insatiable lust for homosexual liaisons is like nothing I’ve ever witnessed. We’re talking 20-30 partners in a single day.”- See more at: http://nationalreport.net/secret-service-agent-says-obama-is-gay-muslim/#sthash.7SCSAQZ5.dpuf |

Democrats call for 1.9 billion welfare program for illegals

Illegal immigration is a serious problem in the U.S., and it’s also a major hot-button political issue that has stirred up waves of controversy for years.Much of the problem with this issue focuses on the availability of welfare benefits for immigrants who’ve entered the country illegally and seem intent on staying here. These individuals typically don’t pay taxes, meaning they make no contribution to the system, draining economic resources.Conservatives have been calling for strict enforcement of immigration laws in order to cut down on the number of illegals entering the country and help reduce the strain on the economy. Many have also called for increased deportation for illegals as a means to reduce the size of the welfare rolls.
